What a dream! I'll take pictures of the installation this week. I mount it on my monopod when the camcorder is high up. I mount this on a tripod arm. Extension cable. However, I had to order another, more expensive one with a photo button on it! I use it with Sony HDR-XR500, HDR XR500V and HDR CX700 and everything works like a dream. I am using it on a 16 inch A/V LANC adapter from Studio1Productions - http://www.studio1productions.com/lanc-sa.htm. The video out works like a champ when you need a larger or more distant monitor. This is an incredible build quality that is far superior to any fake.
