We liked the light and compact pen. It's a decent size. Plates will have small plastic shavings from manufacturing and packaging so please wipe clean before use. My son was 7.5 months old and 16.8 pounds when I got this. And there are no problems with him under control. He's standing next to the plate and holding onto it so we'd have to put our hands in case he falls back - we've got a soft mat but we're still worried about him hitting his head :) Standing/holding, that should not ' no problem. Baby still needs supervision even when in the handle :) Another review mentioned that her baby was strong enough to push out, I don't see how it would be possible to push out if the panels aren't all connected 4 pages. At least it works for us. We just wish it was cheaper as it's all plastic but is priced similarly to comparable products.
