I have been going to get my nails painted for nearly 10 years; it's a frivolous thing to be sure, but it matters a lot to my personality, like wearing makeup is to other people.Back during the depths of the pandemic, my sibling bought a kit to do shellac on my nails so I could keep up my nails even when everything was closed. Because of this, I saw this cat's eye kit and had to try it. May I say, both of us were floored with the results.The one "bad" thing is that the kit recommends a black base before applying the cat's eye polish, but it does not include black with the kit. I'm sure if you have colors, you have black, but in case you are just building a collection.yeah, it might be nice to have a black come with the kit. Also, one design shows using two wands but this kit comes with only one. Other than that, though, there really isn't any other negatives.The application was smooth - but the magic really happens when you use the magnetic wand over the surface. The product IMMEDIATELY responds and forms the most beautiful cat's eye! I do think popping it into the LED lamp for 10 - 15 seconds after getting the design works best, otherwise, it does seem to "fall out". My sibling made a "simple" cat's eye but there were other design suggestions as well, including the option to overlay colors. I would use caution as the more layers, the thicker the nail, but that goes with all nail polishes, not just this one.I had been waiting to use this at just the right time, and I must say, I am so pleased with the results! My nails look super pretty, sparkly - just the way I like them!
