These nail polishes are stunning! Because they’re gel, the magnetic effect stays in place very well, and the polishes themselves are good quality so they also last well. Even with using a peely base, I wore them for about a week when I tried them out, and even then I chose to take them off, and probably could have worn them longer. It is also very nice that these bottles are 10 mL. My least favorite part is that there is a little window in the front of each bottle; I don’t like this on gel bottles, especially since in cases like this it’s still really difficult to see the color in the bottle. These colors do cure within 60 seconds, but opacity depends on how you apply them. If you apply the color alone with no magnetic effect, they’re actually pretty much opaque in only 1 coat, but a second will deepen the color. If you do use magnetic effect, the amount of coats you’ll need varies.If you apply a base color (it can be the same color you’re working with), then you can get away with only one magnetic coat, but I recommend more! In the picture I included of the champagne color on my thumb, I had three magnetic coats, plus one coat of the color by itself. This came out incredible! I didn’t line up the magnetic coats perfectly, so that gave the magnetic effect more depth, which I loved. This is my favorite way to apply magnetic nail polish, and it works best with colors like this where the base is pretty clear, once the magnetic pigments are pulled towards wherever your magnet is. Adding more than one magnetic coat will also let you see the effect better; all of the colors are gorgeous, but some of them (especially the silver) are difficult to see the magnetic effect on. Since there’s three different magnets included with the polishes (the bar and round magnet on either end of the stick, and the loose round magnet), you have basically endless possibilities!
