Had to go back (after writing a great review).

****UPDATE*****HDMI My port died two days later. Get a Real Dock -> Anker 13-in-1 Elite Edition (about $249) As always, you get what you pay for. ****OLD REVIEW**** I must say that I am very satisfied with this docking station. I'm a software developer and I need as many screens as will fit on my desk. I've been doing Docking for a very long time, starting with the original Dochenge series. I've finally given up on those types of docks that allow you to use your laptop vertically, or even motorized horizontal docks. I have a landing zone dock for my 15" MBP, but my new job sent me a 16" MBP, so I need something that will work with both my 15" and 16". I've tried a $100 docking station from VAVA, but stay away. VAVA misleads its customers by claiming that macOS doesn't allow more than two displays. When you connect two monitors via HDMI, they mirror each other, giving you a MacBook display and two mirrored displays. It was a waste of time so I sent it back. This device connects two HDMIs under the same circumstances, and you can use two HDMI displays in addition to a MacBook, one or two HDMI displays with the MacBook lid closed. Works the same as my previous docking stations but a much cleaner setup with such a compact device and more ports. It's the perfect dock and the DisplayPort is still available, but I'm not sure what would happen if I added an extra display. A++++++++++
