Customers will need to purchase a different coolant bypass pipe for the heater core as these blocks are approximately 5/16th lower than the stock blocks for the 4.2 liter V6 engine. The bypass tube costs about a hundred dollars. This is not the manufacturer's fault, this is a Ford update. The o-ring will not seat properly unless you purchase an aftermarket bypass. Also, Harbor Freight's o-ring kits do not include a suitable o-ring. The gray RBT is your friend. The more sips, the more applicable this work here.
