These are amazing floorstanding speakers. I was arguing between this and the Definitive AW 6500, which also gets good reviews. It was mentioned on Crutchfield and AVSForums that these speakers perform much better than the AW 6500, so I took a chance. I can only say wow! These are some amazingly powerful outdoor speakers. I swapped out speakercraft outdoor speakers and they threw them out of the water. They have great range and pretty solid bass, and my wife just loves them. I placed an Onyko M-5010 behind them to keep them away from my receiver's Zone2. If you love good sound across the musical spectrum, take your chances, you won't be disappointed. We are so happy with them for our summer parties. They sound like professional DJ speakers, you can't go wrong with them.
