Outstanding Dynamics of the Time

Outstanding Dynamics of the Time. Driving with a parasonic halo a.23 amp and 851N. Crisp, excellent picture, clear and can work hard and loud. I'm not sure there is anything better for outdoor speakers. My room uses a Revel Performa 3 F8 with a Parasound A21 amp. So I have a good comparison.

Great floorstanding speakers

This is the second pair of PSB CS1000 speakers I've bought, a set for each of our homes. Very good sound reproduction and a decent solid base with plug. Many guests praise the sound quality. Can run at more power than I give them so I don't get noise complaints from my neighbors. The open box is really good value for money. Definitely better than my Polk Audio Atrium 7 (no longer available).

No regrets, worth the money.

I was concerned that two speakers 30 feet apart and 5 feet above listening height would adversely affect the sound quality on my second floor. Luckily I was completely wrong. This is the best sounding pair of outdoor speakers without an additional subwoofer I have ever heard. I've only had them for 2 months so I'm not sure how they will hold up in northern New Jersey over time. Even from the ground in the backyard, the sound quality is amazing. Sounds like a concert in my backyard. I am using a

These are amazing floorstanding speakers.

These are amazing floorstanding speakers. I was arguing between this and the Definitive AW 6500, which also gets good reviews. It was mentioned on Crutchfield and AVSForums that these speakers perform much better than the AW 6500, so I took a chance. I can only say wow! These are some amazingly powerful outdoor speakers. I swapped out speakercraft outdoor speakers and they threw them out of the water. They have great range and pretty solid bass, and my wife just loves them. I placed an Onyko…

Great floorstanding speakers and worth the money!

Comparison of 3 outdoor speakers I tried. Polk Atrium 8 SDI ($200 each when I bought them in 2012, now $249 each) Definitive Technology AW6500 ($250 each) PSB CS1000 ($550 per pair) I liked all three speakers , but Polks ranked third for me in some comparisons. I kept a couple of PSB CS1000s and a couple of Definitive Technology AW6500s. I tested with a 20 year old Onkyo receiver (80 watts per channel). and a 10 year old Yamaha receiver (100 watts per channel). Sources were Sony CD players…
