Four very fine filters at a very good price.
This filter is made of very dense rigid foam. The surface is smooth, not wrinkled like normal filter paper. Much less surface area but much thicker medium. Even the smallest particles have a very difficult time migrating through this filter. It fits perfectly with my 37 year old water filter. There are no separate gaskets at the ends, but he doesn't need them as the filter itself acts as the gasket. .I haven't had them long enough to say how long they will last compared to what I use. Four very fine filters at a very good price.
