The Air Lift 1000 Rear Air Spring Kit is the easiest, most affordable upgrade in terms of time, money and effort. The complete installation on my VW Vanagon took a whopping 30 minutes. I decided that the pressure in each bag should be independent so I could adjust each side for load and balance. Pros: Easy to install. Immediate improvement in handling! Less rear sag, less lean angle in corners, less wobble in cross winds. Cons: (Minor) Because these are small airbags, they are a little touchy when adjusting air pressure. Be careful with the air when inflating/deflating to get the right pressure. That's all. My car is a 1981 VW Vanagon L Westfalia Camper.
