I bought an 8 inch LCD to fit in my PC case to monitor temperature and other stats. It worked great! This LCD is powered via a USB-C to USB-A cable (included) which I routed through the back of my computer case and connected directly to the motherboard. Works great. The image on the LCD is transmitted via a micro HDMI to HDMI cable (also included), which I also routed through the computer, out the back and plugged directly into the graphics card. Worked like clockwork again. My computer took it just like a second monitor. You can display whatever you want on it, be it a cool picture, wallpaper, touchpad, or you can use it like your main desktop. I would rate the image quality as "good" considering the price, size, and intended use. Resolution 1280x800. The monitor has built-in speakers that sit on the back of the unit, which is a nice feature for such a small LCD. I don't use speakers so I just turned the volume down. I am using this LCD as AIDA64 touchpad in my computer case as you can see in the picture. It attaches to the side of my PSU with Command Strip Velcro so I can easily remove it anytime I need it for maintenance. You can also use this LCD in portrait or landscape orientation (just adjust the settings on your computer).
