I am impressed. Plug in the power and mini HDMI cable (included) and you're done. I needed a DMD for my virtual pinball machine and this monitor is perfect. The display is very bright, the text/image quality is first class. The menu is controlled from the back of the monitor and allows you to make custom settings. This monitor is a big improvement over my Fire HD 8. Great device and at a good price. Oh, and this monitor also includes a nice metal stand. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought an 8 inch LCD to fit in my PC case to monitor temperature and other stats. It worked great! This LCD is powered via a USB-C to USB-A cable (included) which I routed through the back of my computer case and connected directly to the motherboard. Works great. This is a very small and high resolution for its monitor size. I use it as a DMD screen to show small videos or "game saves" in a pinball cabinet, so it's perfect for my specific needs. Not sure I can recommend it for general use but as a drop. Instead of another 8 inch screen that no longer works or has a lower resolution, this would be more than enough. It's advertised as a touchscreen for the Pi, leading you to believe it has everything you need to use it as a touchscreen with your Pi. However, when you plug it into your Pi's USB port, it flickers on and off, likely due to insufficient power. I suppose if you use an external power cord that goes into the DC socket then it will work. But they don't include it. I used to buy another brand which should be it but it didn't fit me. I use it for mining rigs, so I don't need a regular sized monitor. A bit pricey for the size, but that's it. I will definitely order a third one, but maybe a 12 inch.

The picture quality is better than expected and we haven't had any problems so far. Works as advertised and for €100 I'm very happy and will buy again.

This works fine as screen and sound with the Pi I have. However, I have yet to figure out how to get the touchscreen to work. I'm still glad I have this as it's easy to carry around with my PI.

This screen is not what it advertises. There are only two aspect ratio options in the OSD menu. 16:9 and 4:3. Declared resolution (1280x800) - 16:10. Choosing 1920 x 1080 will give you black borders on both sides and will shrink the image. In addition, the refresh rate of the device is just under 60 Hz (59.94). This causes flickering on any device that can't output a certain refresh rate or when you try to mirror the screen. It may have bad firmware but I can't fix it. Send back.

I used this with my iPhone by connecting an HDMI cable to it and the picture only filled part of the screen and was distorted. Obviously it's not designed to work with phone outputs.
