YES! It's frozen: kitchen safety
We tried another lock that didn't go from my door to the bottom of the freezer properly. Returned for this one. This is wide enough to form a span, keeping everything frozen. My seal didn't close like it used to, and on several occasions the freezer was left minimally open overnight and began to thaw. We thought we would have to replace the freezer as it no longer freezes properly when closed. We ordered this lock from Revain and now that it has locked properly it now hangs properly and we have had no more problems.
- ☀ Why is it necessary --- Prevent children from accidentally eating food from the refrigerator; so that children do not get their fingers caught when playing with the refrigerator door. It can also play a similar protective role for pets.
