So what modern society is missing is a real back brush for the shower. This one comes close. If you're looking for a soft brush for stroking scented lotion off your skin or removing powder from your butt, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a hard brush to scrape shells off your back, you've come to the right place. This is a good shower brush after working in the field or pumping iron all day. It has hard plastic bristles for good friction, a nice big durable attachment to remove dirt and turn your skin into an elephant skin. . For some reason they paired it with a long thin slanting handle (-1 star). The handle is too delicate for this nozzle. You won't get the exfoliating power you need with a long, thin handle. It really should be 2 inches wide and 1 inch deep, a solid handle. However, it has a good range. Overall I expect it to degrade after 2 years to get the proper bristles. Since I won't be impaling sleepers with this, I expect the handle to hold up. I'll still be looking for a vintage brush, but for a new one, this is the closest I've found so far. I also have a transparent version for another bathroom.
