Excellent Body Brush - Body Care

I can't say enough good things about this body brush. I've been looking for a brush hard enough for me for a long time and finally found it. I use the brush in the shower and it stays stiff even when wet. The plastic grip was a bit awkward the first time, I'm used to wooden grips but I'm a quick learner so it was a breeze the second time. I was skeptical at first because of the curved handle, but I like it. Now I can easily reach all those 'hard to reach places' on my back. In fact, I like it…

This brush is (mostly) what I was looking for!

Decent bath brushes have become increasingly difficult in recent years. Most of them have useless detachable heads. If not, they are either too soft or very poorly made. Or they are not meant to be used in the shower. And with wooden handles, mold is the problem. After a few disappointments with other solid brushes, I went in search of some serious waterproof glue. I need a brush for washing, not just a washcloth for soap! Anyway, I like this brush. The bristles are quite hard. Nothing for the…

I've had this brush for almost two months now. Everyone's skin is different but mine is pretty average at 60 and I love this brush. When dry, it copes well with combing the back, itching on the hands and feet. Used in the shower, it gently exfoliates while the bristles stay firm so you know you're getting a good scrub. My height is just over 5.3 feet and my husband is 6.2. The grip fits the both of us perfectly and hits all the right points. It showed no signs of mold or mildew. Hope that…

Perfect brush - even after (so far) 5 years!

Wow I bought this in 2013 and I still love it! Before I bought this plastic turtle-handled brush, I pretty quickly used and apparently threw away many wooden-handled brushes because they just couldn't handle moisture. This brush is the bomb! The perfect bristle strength and pattern for a not too rough but very effective cleaning, and the plastic handle feels perfect for the shower. I use it often, I don't think there will be a need for a replacement in the near future - it's still in perfect…

Better than my previous brush but still disappointed

After reading some of the other reviews I expected the brush to be a little stiffer. I work at my desk and don't go out much so it's safe to say my skin isn't cracked at all and I was still hoping for a rougher brush than this. They could probably achieve this by simply cutting the stubble to a shorter length. The handle design also needs improvement. It curves towards the body when in use, which just gets in the way. I don't understand the solution here.

Finally - one that works!

The previous three brushes I bought (at the pharmacy) fell apart after a few weeks - heads were crumbling and/or bristles falling out. The other only lasted half a bath. This Swissco brush was more expensive, but it was worth it. It's durable, feels good, does its job, shows no signs of wear after 13 months of frequent use. SEVERAL other reviewers complained of: (1) "Stiff bristles" - but I like them and really get the job done; (2) "Curved Handle" - suits me better than a straight one; (3)…

The best bath brush ever!

Update: I actually wrote the review below in 2017 and only now see that I never submitted it. No wonder, because I still have a clamshell phone. The price I paid at the time was $8.99, which is why I mentioned it was low. So yikes, fast forward, it's about $24.00. I still love this brush, use it every day and will buy it again! So I've been writing since 2017. I've had this particular brush for about 10 years and accidentally the handle broke. You won't believe how upset I was. I thought it…

Good, coarse brush for body care

So what modern society is missing is a real back brush for the shower. This one comes close. If you're looking for a soft brush for stroking scented lotion off your skin or removing powder from your butt, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a hard brush to scrape shells off your back, you've come to the right place. This is a good shower brush after working in the field or pumping iron all day. It has hard plastic bristles for good friction, a nice big durable attachment to remove dirt and…
