Review on Nite Ize KRGS 01 R3 Ring Black by Hikeboy Ramey

I like Nite Ize as a brand. However, this is an imperfect product. They've certainly built "a better mousetrap" over the standard split ring, but it's not exactly perfect. The purpose of this design is to allow quick removal or addition of individual keys. However, keys can come loose too easily. I think it's the spring tension. The clips just don't hold up. Luckily, the key didn't come loose anywhere except in my pocket, but I imagine the timing was far less forgiving given proper pressure on the clamp's bolt. I like the convenience of QD (Quick Detach). Function. I mostly use it to disconnect my house key from my car when I want to warm it up or start it. Not that I'm willing to go through with a standard keyring.
