These bandages are fantastic! I have an open post-op wound on my leg and was already planning a beach vacation when it became clear that my leg would not heal by the time I was in the sand and sea. Finding these bandages was such a blessing! I applied the AllKare Protective Barrier to the skin around the wound where the dressing's adhesive makes contact with the skin. This not only protects the skin, but also ensures a good "sealing" of the bandage. I applied bandages on the days I swam in the ocean and managed to stay 2 or sometimes 3 days between bandage changes. I cannot recommend these bandages enough. You saved my vacation!
