The product I received does not match the picture. The image looks like an original Cuisinart work. This item does not have a lock nut on the blades, the blades are much thinner and curved at various (somewhat random) angles. The black plastic plate is also about half as thin as the original. The blades are so poorly made that the tip of one of them rubbed against the glass side of the jar, causing the blades to not spin (probably why other reviewers blew their motor). After some flexing of the blades the block works fine but I'm not very confident that this part will last as long as the original (around 3 years).
