First let me be clear that meters in this price range are assigned 5 stars as many of them are for sale in different price ranges. If you're looking for the highest quality test tool with all the features available, you need to look at companies like Fluke (and expect $2,000-$5,000 too!). I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a gauge to use. at home, which measures the power consumption of a specific device when plugged into an outlet. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's proven accurate on all measurements. It has decent build quality, and I appreciated having a short extension cord for easier plugging in than having to go straight into an outlet or straight into a device (for odd places or shapes like a wall wart). Nice little freebie to make life easier and enough in my opinion to put it ahead of competing products. All buttons and functions work and the display is easy to read. I'm confident in the quality because I've used it for a long time with powerful devices (once longer than recommended (by mistake!)). There are many competing products in this price range so I had a hard time choosing, but I'm glad I chose this one. I had a little problem when I received the item. I don't know much about electricity and part of the manual seemed confusing to me. I was busy with other things and wasn't really thinking about it when I got a reply email from seller Aaron checking to make sure everything was ok. I told him I didn't understand one of the features and he quickly responded with an explanation of that feature. Since I was a bit slow on this matter, I told him that I don't really understand (yet). Most sellers would probably only offer a return or refund at this point, but Aaron really took it a step further by writing two more emails to help me understand and know how to get the most out of this one product can get out. In a market where there is a lot of choice and all products have the same quality, features and price, I can recommend this product because of the great customer service. Let's face it, dealing with electronics suppliers on Revain can often be frustrating due to language barriers and communication difficulties. This is not the case here and I received exceptional customer service and the product worked exactly as advertised.
