Review on 🚲 Tubeless Tire Inflator 1.15l - Advanced Airshot by Isaac Simpson

A few Tipps. in sport

If you use newer good tubeless rims, fresh tape and new tires it works very well and very fast. It can be a little tricky to refit an old, worn tire with dried latex all over the bead, or an annoying mismatched rim, so here's my workflow: if it's a problem tire that refuses to seat). I use soap and water to lubricate everything. And I use Airshot as instructed. I keep a floor pump attached to the airshot.2. When it sits down, I deflate it by unplugging the floor pump and deflating through the Presta valve on top of the Airshot. I then pour sealant through the valve before replacing the valve core and air. IF THE TIRE DOES NOT FULLY SEAT THE FIRST TIME (most of the bead has moved away from several spots where bubbles indicate a puncture) :3. I will continue to pump through the canal and into the tires at high pressure on my floor pump. This is usually enough to land the remaining stubborn caterpillar. PLEASE NOTE I USUALLY TRACK THE OVERALL PRESSURE THROUGHOUT THE SYSTEM. I START WITH 120 PSI IN THE AIRSHOT WHAT IS 40-50 PSI AFTER TIRES, THEN WHEN REFILL PUMPS ARE NECESSARY I ONLY REACH 60 PSI.4. If there are still some parts of the bead that won't shrink, I deflate all the air completely and add sealant to the tire. Then I start with an air shot, pump to 120 and release. So at this point I'm going to shake the tire and place the problematic part of the bead low to the ground and near the sealant. I'll squirt the tire at high volume on my pump and at 50-60psi the sealant will close the small punctures and the remaining bead will cure. Steps 3 and 4 are only needed for really difficult tires. . Sounds awkward, but once I figure out I have to pump air to get the remaining 10-20psi up, it's a lot quicker than my old methods: spending an hour cleaning the side of latex residue, going to a gas station, bike shop, do sit. first with a tube, etc.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Something different
