Please make sure you have enough space above and below the hitch pocket before purchasing. Mine was also received with no hardware to install. Not that it helps as there isn't room for it between the bumper and hitch on my car. An alternative is to turn it upside down, but you will need space between the hitch pickup tube and the safety chain. It should be big enough to fit a locking device in between. Again not on my truck.
