Not a bad monitor, but not great either

Okay, let's start with the good. Maximum brightness is 350 nits, so it's not too bad. It goes up to 280Hz, which combined with a 1ms response time is very good. The RGB lighting on the back is a nice touch, although it's not controllable anyway. It looks good overall, with a three-sided bezel-less design like most monitors. Also has AMD FreeSync Premium. Of course, everything is fine, but this is normal for most modern gaming monitors. What distinguishes him? To be honest I don't see how it's done. It's a good monitor, don't get me wrong, but we're talking about a 1080p monitor for $300, so you must have something special. With the exception of the RGB lighting, it is no different from my current monitor. It leaves a 1/4 inch border around the entire screen and doesn't go full screen (I'm using it on an Xbox x series) so it shrinks from 24.5 inches to 24 inches. , but still annoying. Claims to have HDR but when I turn it on, Xbox says it's not HDR compatible? Hmm strange. Then I download the user guide (yes you should download it) and it's very vague and explains very little beyond the obvious. It does not explain the abbreviations and their meaning. It doesn't explain what the different modes and changes do. To be honest, this is a pointless guide. It comes with standard features like red dot/crosshair for FPS (First Person Shooter) games. However, you can't see what frame rate you're at at any point unless you open the menu and it doesn't appear in the bottom-right corner. Honestly, at the end of the day the only people pulling 280fps are those with high-end PCs, and why would they need a 1080p monitor? It really isn't bad but I feel like the price is lowered for what you get. Maybe there's something I don't see here, but it's not fantasy.
