My shop/warehouse is insulated and 23,000 cubic feet. Due to the high humidity here in the south, I've always had a problem with mold. I was skeptical that this small device could handle such a large area. The humidity inside was 76% when I turned it on. If I could just get it below 65% that would keep the mold at bay. In 4 days the dehumidifier brought it down to 45%. Wow. I have it set to cycle now and it keeps the humidity at around 50%. Today it is 80% outside and 51% inside. Aside from solving the mold problem, it also made them a lot more convenient. I am interested in the weather and have used 3 precision psychrometers to measure and compare humidity readings. The moisture reading on the dehumidifier digital display was within 2%. I am very pleased with the performance of this device and how it has transformed the way my store is set up.
