Review on UeeVii CPE71C Wireless Surveillance Transmission by Jason Khadka

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stable Wi-Fi connection

Our congregation was looking for a way to broadcast the Sunday service live from an open-air church in a nearby wooded area. I saw a video review by Carey Holtzman on the YouTube channel that solved a similar problem. The distance for this transmission is 500 to 600 feet, some of which will be through forest. If I place the transmitter in a window overlooking the forest and the receiver on a post about 7ft tall facing the transmitter, I get a solid green signal on both devices. I was able to live stream non-stop for more than 1 hour. I've done this twice so far with no problems. I had to change the channel setting to channel "d" on both devices to get a good signal. We are happy with these devices. They work out of the box. Don't mess with the user interface. And the instructions are not very good. Check out Kari Holtzman's video review of it.

Pros
  • Access to CPE via PC: The point-to-point bridge is controlled via a web browser interface. Before accessing, change the computer's IP address to the same network segment as the CPE (192.168.211.XXX), which is very important; Then enter the IP address of the CPE in the browser and enter the password of the "admin/admin" account for access and configuration. If you can't customize it, please let us know.
Cons
  • Not everything fits
