Review on 🎡 ION Audio Max LP – Vinyl Record Player/Turntable with Built-In Speakers, USB Output for Conversion, 3 Playback Speeds – Natural Wood Finish: Enhance Your Vinyl Experience by Mike Quade

Good player system, but with flaws.

When I received and opened up my purchase of this ION turntable I was a bit confused when I saw the small platter platter. I thought it was a joke, it looks like a toy. However, I installed it on my system and it does what it's supposed to, although I had a problem launching it after plugging it into my computer to digitize a recording as a first test of its capabilities. It finally works, and as I said, it does what it's advertised to do. The small built-in speakers are not a sonic reward and one should expect otherwise from them. They're good for monitoring whatever's being recorded, but not for casual listening. There is an output for external speakers, which I haven't tried yet. I have an old set of BOSE speakers that I might hook up at some point to see how it sounds. Overall it's a nice looking unit with a wooden base but this little turntable is giving me fits as it looks so much like a toy like I said before. I put it out of sight in case someone walked in and saw it. I don't think I'll keep it for long and will probably get another player with a more professional look soon. Those who don't care about such things will be happy. My complaints are the reason why I can only give this device three stars.
