I ran two of these cables with an amplifier. After trying many different combinations with different cables and power supplies, I came to the conclusion that either the cables are not suitable for the distance, or the repeater is not good, or the performance of the mini PC I was connected to , not enough. Needless to say I was a little upset. And then a colleague came in and looked at the cables and pointed to the screen printed ends, DOH! Quick page change and everything worked like clockwork. I knew about the highlighted ends when I bought it but I really should have remembered that when it arrived, it would have saved me time and a bit of hassle. :) I need coffee.
