Benefits: - Aluminum construction - Rubber O-rings keep dirt and water out of the valve and help keep the caps in place - Black for a subtle look (or bright red if you prefer ) - LF, LR, RF, RR position markings on the caps help with tire rotation - 8 total caps (two complete sets) for only $7.99. Cons: - When I ordered, the LR position marker was missing on one of the kits. But 7 out of 8 isn't bad, is it? ;) The verdict is still pending: - The location marker seems to have been drawn. Let's see how long this lasts. Conclusions: I take my car to autocross and track night so I have one set of wheels/tires for the road and one for the track. It's nice to be able to track the position of the tires to really check their wear after the competition. It's also great to track the position of the tires while cornering! There are only 8 valve stem caps in this set so it's perfect for two sets of tires or as a spare in case some get lost or stolen. do not protrude much and are less likely to come loose. Of the 8 caps in this set, one of the caps was missing its location marker. see image. Overall the aluminum construction and rubber O-rings offer good quality and are very handy for swapping out tires and monitoring tire wear after a track race rather than marking tires with chalk. Only time will tell if the location markers and black paint can withstand rain, snow, de-icers and car washes. I will update if anything changes.
