I bought them to play disc golf in the warmer months. Thinking they might be great for hiking I found I especially like them for strength training! I played disc golf in it with socks. They worked well, the only problem is that the track is dusty and turns black. They were easy to clean, although they dried out pretty quickly on the outside. I would prefer the half size variant. I'm usually 8 1/2, went by 9. I might consider getting another pair if I can get them for the same price I paid. I didn't need drainage holes in the bottom so I chose these over the others. There is a removable shock absorbing sole.
