I'm a fan. This works great with my work from home. I bought it because the old one I got from my company was uncomfortable and I also sometimes couldn't hear people on certain calls. There will be no problems with that. Never had to adjust the volume. I also like the fact that I can hear myself when I speak. If you don't like hearing yourself, you can customize it the way you don't like it. There's a feature that lets you either ring loudly or beep in your ear when you get a call, which is pretty cool too. I actually use it sometimes when I'm not even working. If it was wireless I would definitely use it all the time. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's very noticeable when I turn the sound off. No one noticed my old headset, with this one when the sound is off I always hear "Hello?" They think I hung up because there's a very distinct click at both ends. Otherwise I LOVE the headset!
