These coasters are as beautiful as they are absorbent. The images are a little more muted than the picture shows, but I intentionally poured a few teaspoons of water over them and observed how the coasters just soaked up the liquid and the water didn't hit the wooden table below. Ideal for the warmer months when cold glasses tend to have a lot of condensation and the cork bottom prevents them from slipping easily. They're ceramic so can break if you're not careful, but they're not too fragile. Oh, would definitely buy them again.
