What a piece of junk. The only thing worse than no heart rate data is inaccurate heart rate data. It happily displays random heart rates throughout my ride. When I put it on for the first time and wet the bands as instructed, it was reading 175 beats per minute. By now my real heart rate was around 80-90. It continued to read high readings until I got home (it rarely updated new inaccurate readings). After the trip I used the utility to check if there was a firmware update and it showed 46bpm. This was also incorrect. I just finished my ride and it was probably around 90-100 bpm. I've been trying to get this to work for weeks. When I first got it it was bad but not that bad so I updated the firmware. This only worsened the situation. I also read the instructions carefully to make sure it wasn't operator error. I even updated my bike computer's firmware. Eventually I gave in and ordered a competitor's heart rate monitor. Worst of all, her old heart rate monitor worked really well. I gave it to my wife because she didn't have it and she "upgraded" to it. I wish I had returned it when I first received it.
