I really want to give this KVM five stars but there is a design issue that is driving me crazy. This KVM is more than a keyboard, video and mouse switcher. It also toggles the microphone and main speakers. Short press toggles keyboard, video, and mouse, while long press toggles microphone and audio. This is great if you work a lot and switch between devices while listening to music. Now for my complaint. When you turn off your device, KVM automatically switches to another device with an active display. I am running an ESXi host and connected to this KVM. I'll either have to sit here and wait for my computer to shut down and automatically switch KVM so I can turn it back off, or I'll (sometimes days later) revert to a monitor that was on the entire time. It's an incredible annoyance. Why did they feel the need to help the user choose the next task? Couldn't they believe that users can actually know what they want to do next?
