This mitt is too small to fit babies who are actually teething. We tried it at 8 months, and it doesn't even cover his thumb, which is the reason we got it because he is teething on his thumb and destroying the skin. What's more, he can easily pull it off. Then he chews on it, so it works as a teether but not as a teething mitt.
