I was very curious if this brush cleaner would work because cleaning makeup brushes is such a tedious job as any other. After reading all the reviews on here, good and bad, I thought it would be a good idea to give it a try. I thought one thing that others have also mentioned is the ability to rinse the brush before drying. It made sense to me, but the idea of draining dirty water and refilling clean water for each brush seemed too labor intensive. So I went to the local Dollar Tree and bought a small round glass bowl for a dollar(!) that looks exactly like the bowl in the kit to fill with dishwater. I just wash my brush in soapy water and then put it in soapy water, rinse it and then dry it. Works great! All my brushes wash and dry in about 10 minutes and I don't waste time or water. Here is a photo of my rinse aid along with the kit's bowl. And the rubber boot fits in case the original bowl breaks. I actually bought 2 $1 bowls in case I break one. Love this system, the brushes fit on the collars, the collars stay on the electric handle, even my big powder brush stays in place and spin dry.
