The first suitcase I had, I heard through the vine, was one of the most competent suitcases. , and seemed to press the buttons on the shoulder which may be draining the battery, otherwise I liked it. As a previous Takecase customer, I signed up for their e-club and was notified when the next version came out. I bought it and agree that it added a bit more space around the Switch and additional storage space for games, increasing the storage space from 20 to 30 over the previous model. I was very happy with it. This case is probably perfect for me. but i was forced to get the latest one. I think I like supporting what looks like a small and personable company, so I went with this latest model, the blue one. Differences. Here are my biggest takeaways: - The outer shell is a bit thinner. Perhaps this was done to give more space around the switch at the bottom of the case. The way the derailleur is supported in the housing won't affect anything in my opinion, I certainly don't intend to drive a truck over it, but this caught my eye. - The part you hold by the zipper is different on the top mesh pocket (see comparison photos in another review), although the actual zipper part appears to be the same. It can be a personal preference. This new one has a larger fabric pull on the zip, the previous and previous models have a smaller but stylish metal pull. I prefer the old one but it remains fully functional. The underside of the top flap in the previous model was stretchable and mesh-like to accommodate 10 more games. Now it's down from 30 to 20 again. That might be a problem for some people as I know some people who have a lot of Switch games. It was removed on the previous model, presumably to avoid pressure on the screen when the accessory pouch is full and games are full in any orientation. I don't have many games so it doesn't bother me yet.+ Now it's the color choice that matters. I find them all attractive but the blue color looks amazing+. Probably the biggest improvement is the space underneath. Now, of course, more depressed shoulder buttons, but I also think this has been solved in the last model. There's a lot more space now. maybe too much but apparently it was made to accommodate the handles. Conclusion on comparison with previous models: o: If you like the blue or red color variants: Get the new model: If you like the cooler metal zipper: Keep the previous modelo: If you need more space around the Switch when in use is the case, because for comfortable grip or personal preference: get a new model: if you have concerns about protection and think a few millimeters more will do: stick with the previous model: if you use flap-mounted gaming storage and space for more than 20 games: Stick with the previous models: If you don't have a switch case yet or need a high-quality, durable and inexpensive case. , this is a great case, buy it!
