Unusable as anti-theft device. The body of the "LOCK" is made of plastic, not metal. In fact, the only metal parts are the locking mechanism and the key. Almost everything else on the lock appears to be plastic. The lock is very light and doesn't seem very strong. But for me it's ok as I use a lock to prevent people from moving my scooter. I use it as a preventive measure, just another lock out of place to deter riders from aiming at my scooter. One day I noticed that my scooter moved a little when it was on the main stand. So I want to use this lock to lock the front brake so when the scooter is on the center stand they have trouble moving the scooter forward because of the lock. Well, let's hope it works.
