Review on Flipsky Inches Kingping Electric Skateboard by Mike Starling

The main design flaw is suitable for trucks

I ordered them on the FlipSky website and at first I thought I would like these trucks. But there is a big problem in that the axle is 10mm long as opposed to the standard 8mm for most skateboards. I found some precision bearings that fit these 22mm OD x 10mm ID axles. The problem, however, is that increasing the inside diameter without increasing the outside diameter leaves very little room for the correspondingly sized bearing balls inside. These trucks are beefy and anyone who buys them will likely be driving in rough conditions. But right now I can't even do a short 2-3 mile MELLOW ride on the boardwalk without burning out a bearing. EVERY WEEK for the last 4 weeks I have had to cancel my trip. These trucks can mount off-road wheels with air tires, so I gave them 2 stars. But for street skateboarding, they're potentially dangerous. If they made them with an 8mm stock I think the problem would be solved.
