I bought these lights for my bathroom. At first I liked how much brighter they were compared to the old incandescent bulbs which got very hot and wasted a lot of electricity. But then when I went to the bathroom at night and got ready for bed, it was like waking up at 7am with the sun on your face. Not the best way to prepare for sleep. The lamps had to be over 5000K, they looked more like 6500K. CRI is also not very good. Everything looked strange because of the light quality. I would like to measure it. I think I should have gotten the equivalent of 40W instead of 60W. I adjusted a dimmer to try and make them less bright, which worked, but it made them look even weirder. I then tried installing them elsewhere in the house but they were either too big or not bright enough for overhead lights, lamps etc. I ended up returning them and others from Sun Co with a white ball and a temp of 4000 get K and they are great!
