I prefer this clipper to my old clipper just because it's rechargeable and waterproof. I use it to shave my face as I hate shaving and only do it in the shower about once a week so it all washes down the drain. With my corded clippers, I could zero the clippers to get a fairly even cut when shaving my face, but it has a 0.5mm preset so you can't zero. I love that it comes with a carry case and a few different attachments if you use it to cut your hair and you can easily adjust the length with the switch. real hair clipper instead of the adjustment lever, which on my corded hair clipper vibrates and moves and never stays in the same place. They also have 2 speeds. I don't know how waterproof it is. Lighter and narrower than my wire cutters, so easy to use. I've noticed that they caught a few times which was eye opening for me but maybe they'll get better with time. I don't have to worry about electrical problems, but I don't shave my face with water; Also, if I want, I can just go outside when it gets warmer and shave my face.
