Review on Numbers Adults Beginner Painted Painting Painting, Drawing & Art Supplies by Kristen Simpson

My husband bought me these paint by numbers for my birthday. I love the colors and the plot of this painting. Unfortunately, there are some problems with this color-by-number. Firstly there are areas of this drawing that are greyed out and I suppose they should be left blank when drawing (which is disappointing because I think it will look weird with most areas painted and some areas not greyed out) . However, if you compare a very small reference image to a painting, it turns out that some areas of the gray should have color. If I then compare the reference image with the painting, you can see that the paint colors indicated by certain numbers do not really match the color of the area to be painted over. Finally, some paint colors are used frequently and I can say that I will run out of paint before the painting is finished. Some paint by number kits explain this by giving more than one can of paint for the number used more than the rest. I even bought gesso to prime the canvas so I don't waste too much paint. I really like the scene in this painting so I intend to go ahead and try to fix the painting as best as I can.
