Works fine but has an odd thing

I have my home and office computers connected to this, as well as a USB hub to one of the KVM's USB ports. Switching between computers is fast (less than 2 seconds), so everything should be fine. However, I noticed something odd: my Logitech Unifying adapter was plugged into an external USB hub and the computer no longer recognized the center wheel click (usually used for panning documents/images/drawings). All other mouse and keyboard functions worked as they should. Plugged the Unifying adapter into the mouse port of the KVM and everything worked fine again. My Loupedeck Live shuts down when switching between computers. Since it uses Ethernet over USB I think it has something to do with network security. But that would be a plus. The only downside I have is that the photos suggest it uses USB 3.0 (blue) ports. The actual product has black ports, and upon closer inspection there aren't enough pins for USB 3.0, so it's USB 2.0 at best. Since I won't be using KVM for storage (and you shouldn't, as constantly disconnecting devices without unmounting them will cause corruption), this is fine.

Pros
  • USB 2.0 4-HUB KVM SWITCH
Cons
  • Requires a power outlet
