I really wanted to find a simple classic summer dress. I have a particularly hard time dealing with the extreme heat and humidity of the Midwest summer. I prefer to wear longer skirts, almost never wear shorts or skirts above the knee. I'm 35 too. I'm sure these things add to my anxiety as they seem very brief. The package arrived quickly in a plain plastic envelope with another zipped pouch containing the dress. First impression: Pros: Nice and elegant material. Well done. Classic dark blue color. Seams and seams are well finished. Everything looks right. Cons: Super short on a 5'7 frame. The straps should be longer so that the neckline is in the same place as the model in the product photo. It's short for my taste. Final Thoughts. I'm not sure I have the courage to wear something that short. I could find a pair of proper black shorts to wear underneath so it's more like a long summer shirt. Maybe I can somehow lengthen the straps so they fit my neckline a little better. All in all, this is a great addition to any summer wardrobe.
