Review on Canon EF 85mm f1.2L II USM πŸ“· Lens: Perfect for Canon DSLR Cameras - Fixed-Focus Excellence by Bai Dang Thi ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are several shortcomings, but, it corresponds to the norm.

Even if someone finds the content of my review to be contradictory, I simply cannot refrain from writing what I have to say about this model. The scream of the heart, in a manner of speaking. Because I rented it to try it out first, it's in almost brand-new condition. Sadly, I came to the realization that I have a number of fundamental flaws in myself. I don't argue, yes, of course everything is subjective, and it's possible that my hands are crooked, but even so. It's possible that I came across a flawed copy; I won't say anything to the contrary, but the very first impressions simply blew me away (already at home). To put it simply, autofocus. When he first started to show his character to me, I was such a spoiled 70-200 f/2.8L IS II USM that I almost collided with someone. Yes, it's possible that manual focusing is important in this situation; in fact, I got so frustrated that I completely forgot about it. But why such an AF? Sharp, you are free to play in any way you like. Picture. Again, when compared to the 70-200 and the 135L, the 85 was my least favorite of the three that we worked with during the session. And not just to me, but to everyone else who is one of my "patients." Everyone I've shown comparison pictures of the 85 and the 70-200 to has said the following: "Oooh! Why didn't you start taking pictures right away with this lens?" Of course, they are not polar opposites, but there is a discernible difference between the two that can be seen even by novices. There is very little difference between the 135L and the 70-200. When compared to 85, 70-200 possesses greater color depth, color, and velvet. However, I think this comes down to personal preference. If I find the time to rummage through the old files, I will either post comparative pictures or I will retake the test using the number 85. Outcome. In spite of my best efforts to think rationally, I can't help but feel that the copy I purchased must be flawed. It's impossible for me to believe that the second 85 is as poor as it is. It could be beneficial to bring an additional copy to the test, or even to rent it from a different location. I am still of the opinion that the Canon 70-200 2.8L IS II USM is the best portrait and telephoto lens available in its price range at this time. By the way, it zeroes in at the speed of light, and it does not make the slightest difference how much is on the opposite side of the world. Story. I used to believe that I will purchase 85, but now I will think about doing so. 04/09/13. In the event that the testing goes on, I will add.

Pros
  • Everyone is aware of it.
Cons
  • Autofocus. It will not focus when there is insufficient light. It does not primarily concentrate on the same background over and over again.
