It took me a while to get this soundbar to work with my TV as the HDMI Arc function didn't work for me no matter what I tried. I was able to connect it to my phone via bluetooth, I connected it to my projector via line-in, it doesn't work with TV in Arc, my TV has an HDMI port labeled Arc, I have Arc in the TV settings activated, tv said if was in arc let me adjust sound with tv remote etc nothing but still no sound, messed up all tv settings related to arc starting, and nothing. I was about to give up so I thought how about an optical cable so I had to order it. bam! TV now has sound for the soundbar! I strongly recommend buying an optical cable as the arc function is totally unsuitable for me. After connecting the panel to the TV with an optical cable, I was delighted to hear the audio from this soundbar. I love the equalizer setting, I found the setting to be a good mix of speech and music which I really enjoy. The audio is crisp and clear and it will be a lot louder than my TV speakers, it sounds a lot better. I like the little remote, it has everything you need, volume, mute, equalizer, power. Speaking of power, if the soundbar isn't used for a while, it will turn itself off. The soundbar looks good, is well made and sounds great for my TV sound, a big upgrade from my TV speakers. , very nice to use it for this purpose. The soundbar is very versatile, you can use it as a speaker via Bluetooth and you can use it with a projector with a head jack in the male-to-female cable. Just a normal headphone cable. So you are not restricted in your applications. The sound quality is good, I wouldn't say excellent, but still much better than a TV speaker when connected via an optical cable. The soundbar seems like a great value if you intend to use it for general TV sound purposes. It has a nice rich sound, not much bass, great for conversations and normal music, very nice for listening to guitar and piano playing, really picks up different notes and sounds. Overall very happy with the soundbar, wish I had an optical cable as it took a while to get it working, glad I got it working and now I like it. I still wish I could get it to work with the HDMI ARC feature, although the optical cable is fine for my needs.
