It's hard to find a toilet brush without plastic! I just moved and had to buy all these household items again. I hate buying plastic so I started looking for alternatives. I liked the idea of using a coconut for the brush as coconuts leave a lot of waste when shelled. The coconut is in a large shell, so there are two shells in all. When I lived in rural Hawaii, I saw piles of shells lying around. They're useful, so it's awful to see them creating litter on the roadsides instead. So I was happy that this brush solves my environmental morality lol. Yes, she spills a little in the toilet. which is washed away. It scratches a lot but didn't damage my toilet, no scratches left. It will feel different than synthetic brushes, so expect that. It works and think about how you can make a difference. I've seen a lot of plastic washing up on the Hawaiian coast. It was heartbreaking to see the garbage, fish, sea turtles and sea lions being produced. Plastic doesn't go anywhere, it breaks down into smaller pieces. we swallow it with food and water. I cannot express how urgently we need to move to these solutions. I just wish it came with a brush holder. Then it would be perfect. Overall very satisfied, great product
