I have listened to small radios for many years. As a radio amateur I have visited many radio stations. The last radio I replaced was an old Radio Shack with this Sony. WOW, I should have done that sooner. This radio is smaller than the portables I've had in the past. The sound is clear, stops at the station you put it on. It doesn't drift and when used with Sony headphones I get clear, crisp sound. This radio is so small and light. When I first saw it I doubted it could work, but as soon as I turned it on I realized I was wrong. This is a great little radio. I use it at night when I can't sleep. I turn on the talk radio near me and these little gel-on-ear headphones block out background noise like fans or the ticking of a clock. The battery life has been excellent so far. I am very satisfied with this product. I would recommend it to a friend.
