Very good device and it really works. It takes some getting used to at first. After getting used to the new kind of flame, don't you think it works like a charm. I find myself trying to double-click and am so used to the lighter that I never light it the first time. Okay, butane isn't needed. Start this lighter. Just charge it overnight with any Micro USB cable/charger, almost everyone has phones with a charger except the expensive ones, they had to go the other way and their cable doesn't fit. Standard micro USB works! The lighter has a charge indicator that lights up while charging. After that, the ad will go off and you might be able to use it for the next two or even three days depending on your usage. I don't know the exact charge time, but I'm guessing around two hours or so. The internal charging circuit will stop charging when fully charged. As for durability claims, it's still too early to talk about that. I really hope it lasts more than a few months, of course the battery (probably non-replaceable) is the most important component and can fail prematurely. You can technically expect a lifespan of around 4-5 years, right? I don't know, only time will tell. A few maintenance strokes with a soft brush over the electrodes may help keep the lighter working properly, as dirt can build up on it over time.
