I was hesitant to buy this replacement pin at first because I am a person who knows the theory of this type of repair but with a 55 year old track record. even the simplest mechanical tasks. There were enough parts in this pen to bother me. Will my inner fool be set free? However, with the help of the videos here on Revain, installation was a breeze. It took less than 5 minutes. The only issue not addressed in the video has little to do with the stylus. It depends on the type of my particular toilet. My 1970 American Standard has a fairly small tank and always tended to fill less than it should. I had to bend the float lever slightly to allow the float to rise a little higher when filling the tank and allow more water to pass. So probably three minutes to install, a few more (and 3 flushes) to adjust the arm and the toilet was good to go.
