Review on TEKTON 16 Ounce Fiberglass Handle Hammer by John Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you need a rubber mallet, you've come to the right place.

It was a great purchase. I needed a rubber mallet to drive cinder blocks into a layer of compacted sand and it worked. I've also used it on delicate pavers and nothing has chipped. I expect the hammer head to look chewed up and worn from the abuse, but it still looks brand new. It's just the right weight, feels good in the hand and the center of gravity seems to be perfect. This thing is quite heavy, but I haven't felt any pain after a few hours of use. It's also excellent at absorbing shock as I don't feel like I get any uncomfortable vibrations after hitting cinder blocks or cobblestones. I hit them pretty well too, so it's impressive that I don't get hurt. At this price point, if you think a rubber mallet will help you with any of your projects, don't worry. I have never used a rubber mallet and may not need one for many years, but I think it was a great purchase for this particular job and I have absolutely no regrets picking up the tool that worked for me maybe not working. I actually use it very often. come on boy
