I have a couple of speakers that I installed on the ceiling of my garage. They sound good, but the bass is a bit muted due to space constraints; So it's time to add a subwoofer. I have an extra Velodyne subwoofer that I tried with speakers but it was overkill and I realized I had to go another (smaller) route. I also have three Dahlquist DQ-1W subwoofers, but they require special amplifiers and each speaker is huge. I wanted something quick and easy. Looking through the product descriptions on Revain, this subwoofer caught my eye because it was wall mountable. "Damn," I thought, "this could be perfect under a workbench or on a wall." After receiving the speaker today, I unpacked and installed it. Wow, that's impressive! Given the amount of money I spent on it, I assumed the bass would be deep and the body wood would be 1970's wagon vinyl. No, the sound is amazing, with clear tones down to 40Hz or so and the natural veneer cabinet. Unbelievable. I spent more money on a connecting cable than on this speaker. I highly recommend it if you are on a budget. You will not be disappointed.
